Also, I have a DVD burner plugged into a red port, and it's working just fine too. ![]() When I plugged it into the red port, for some reason, it didn't work. I'm not running a raid setup, but it seems to work just fine. The other two are an orange and a white SATA port labeled "Silicon Image Serial ATA Raid Connectors." Says they're for SATA hard drives only.Īt present, my boot drive (the one working) is plugged into the white Silicon Image raid port. The first six are regular red ports, which the manual describes as "ICH10R Serial ATA Connectors." Expressly described as being for SATA boot/data hard disk drives as long as they're in Standard IDE mode. My first issue is where exactly/I] to plug each one into the motherboard. HDD2: Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB (HD753LJ) HDD1: Samsung Spinpoint F1 320GB (HD322HJ) But the motherboard is only detecting my boot drive. I built a new computer with two hard drives, a primary 320GB for a boot drive and a 750GB storage drive. ![]()
